The Ontario Provincial Police is investigating after a woman was struck and killed by an out-of-control pickup truck in Cayuga.Police say around 7:50 a.m. Monday, a black Dodge Ram pickup truck was travelling on Concession 5 near Kohler Rd. when the 20-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle. The truck hit a 47-year-old woman who was jogging along the roadway. The woman was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the truck was also taken to hospital as a pre-cautionary measure. OPP have not yet released the victim’s identity. Police are continuing to investigate the collision and are seeking the public’s assistance.
