Letterkenny will take place on Saturday 23rd May. Entry for a team of 4 is only €100 with some excellent prizes on offer. The Senior Footballers were defeated by Glenswilly on Sunday by 2-08 to 1-05 while the Reserves won 4-07 to 0-10, goalscorers Eddie Blake, Aiden Friel and Donnacha Gallagher(2). Both teams are due to travel to Malin this coming weekend.The Juniors beat Adara in the second round of the League. The final score was 1.10 to 1.5 with the Eunan’s goal coming from Kevin Meehan. Good luck to Ray Durack and the Donegal Senior Hurlers who take on Tyrone in the Nicky Rackard Cup this Saturday in O’Donnell Park, throw in 1pm.The Senior Hurlers went down to Na Seamróga on a scoreline of 4-10 to 0-05 in the Táin League on Sunday.The Minor Hurlers recorded a hard fought 5-08 to 2-14 win over Burt. They now face Carndonagh at home on Thursday evening, 7.30pm throw in. Minor training continues every Tuesday at 5pm.The U-14 Hurlers were also victorious last week, defeating Aodh Ruadh by 5-11 to 1-01.Congratulations to Rose Boyle and Kaneshia Mc Kinney, who are part of the County Ladies squad that reached the National League Division 2 final in Clones at the weekend after a comprehensive win over Westmeath.Well done also to our club members on the Under 14 development squad on their win over Fermanagh.Congratulations to our players who were of the Donegal Minor Football panel who retained their Ulster Minor League title last weekend, beating Derry 2-14 to 1-11. The Century Cinemas Football Academy continues every Sunday morning at 11am and the Hurling and Camogie Academy is every Friday at 6.30pm. New members are most welcome from all parts of Letterkenny.There will be a Dance in The Clubhouse on Saturday, May 9th featuring well known band “Country Traditions” between 9:30pm and 12:30am. Admission is only €8 including Supper. All proceeds are going to our U14 Féile teams. The boys and girls footballers will travel to Wicklow with the Hurlers and Camógs hosting teams. The boys and girls U14 Footballers will travel to the south-east (Wexford – Carlow – Wicklow) in late June for the All-Ireland Féile whilst the U14 Hurlers and Camógs will act as hosts for this year’s Ulster Féile.You can drop your black bags of old clothes to O’Donnell Park this Sunday, May 3rd during the Century Cinemas Sunday Morning Academy. You can also drop off on this Friday, May 1st during the Hurling and Camogie Academy between 6.30pm and 8pm.
