DARE graduation, Chamber Celebration, Duke of Wellington – all this week

first_imgThursday night – Chamber Celebration.The Wellington Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual celebration at Theurer Marketing Center at 802 E. 16th Street starting at 6 p.m. The celebration will feature the annual Distinguished Service Award, Business of the Year and Young Professional of the year.  For more details, see article here. Friday night – Wellington homecoming.Wellington will be crowning a Duke of Wellington, auctioning off scoreboards, while playing a home basketball with Mulvane this Friday night. The Duke candidates are Alex Weiss, Brian Peck, Justin Bruns, Andrew Linnebur, and Loren Farley. This is a big week with three big community events occurring on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  DARE graduation, Chamber Celebration and Wellington Duke Coronation and Homecoming are on three successive nights…Wednesday night – DARE graduation.The event that every fifth grader and their parents love is this Wednesday night at 7 p.m. the Wellington High School Auditorium.
