Virat Kohli’s fan-boy moment with football legend Luis Figo

first_imgIndian batting sensation Virat Kohli had a fan-boy moment when he met Portuguese football legend Luis Figo who is touring India to promote a new football league Premier Futsal. He was recently named Player of the Tournament for aggregating 273 runs from five matches even though India lost their ICC World Twenty20 semi-final to West Indies at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. The 27-year-old was in superb touch in Australia as well, smashing 381 runs in the five-match ODI series before amassing 199 runs from three T20s against the hosts.Kohli was recently also in the news when he had stood up for ex-girlfriend Anushka Sharma, who became the target of trolls on Twitter. A sharp rebuke to the trolls was welcomed by many of his followers on the social media platform.
