House fire involves 9 fire departments

first_imgPetersville, IN—Saturday, German Township VFD firefighters along with Hope Fire Dept were dispatched to assist Clifford Fire on co rd 475 east for a residential fire. Temperatures during the fire were calculated, from thermal cameras, to have reached  900 degrees on the ceiling and 400 degrees on the floor.During the duration of the incident, several fire departments were requested to respond based off of the predetermined mutual aid list for that area. In all 9 fire departments responded making for a total of 3 alarms.In addition to departments already listed: Hartsville, Clay Township, Harrison Township, Wayne Township from Bartholomew Co; Flat Rock and Marietta from Shelby County; and Burney-Clay VFD from Decatur County all responded.
